How far are you willing to follow your ideas?

Starting a business is easy, and everyone wants to lead and to call the shots.
But entrepreneurship is so much more than just being in charge. It’s not just a role—it’s a journey that tests your commitment to even yourself at every step.
Probably something obvious when you read it, but in the last months I have realised how important it is to follow a structure in order to achieve results, no matter the field. Anyone who has launched a business will agree that it is very demanding. This newsletter is my own creation, but I also consider it my own business!
While doing my homework (yes, sir!) I found a brand that interested me from the first moment: La Gentle Factory. This is a brand focused on protecting the identity and history of a country through a business (in this case, France), but at the same time plays a part in society (in this case, sustainable fashion).
These are some of the highlights that you can find in the article:
A mission that is clear → to contribute to responsible clothing without losing your elegance. But that was not as clear as it is now.
Long and challenging journey → Christèle Merter, founder of LGF, showed proof of resilience, creativity and high commitment to her values because she started as an intrapreneur (I like this word!) while she was part of Happychic Group.
Learning → while there, she was able to follow sustainability efforts, such as developing eco-responsible products and launching eco-friendly initiatives, but she did not stop there and took a leap of faith: La Gentle Factory.
Testing → Under the name of LGF to distinguish it from the other brands’ main collections, she was able to incubate the essence that the brand has now: To be beautiful is good; to do good is beautiful.
Educating Your Audience → they have built a complete ecosystem that is Made-In-France, eco-responsible, and that educates French Gentlemans: a Gentleman is a man who considers how he looks, and thinks about the planet!
This case (you can consult it here) was very meaningful for me because it aligns with a sector that I like. Very happy to close this article with their first advertising campaign: those who wear our clothes, are also wearing our ideas! Today, LGF is a testament to Christèle’s determination, and more than one brand in the fashion industry (and maybe in others!) should sit and think about it for future collections.
