3 Skills That You Can Also Learn in 2025
Welcome. January was full of many things: moving to a new apartment, taking final university tests, and planning for 2025. But here we are, and it’s already February 8th. This is a good reminder that it’s always a good time to retake a project, like me and my newsletter.

3 Skills I’ll Develop in 2025 In My Free Time
What are you going to learn this 2025?
This is something that I always ask myself at the beginning of each year because I am a strong believer that a life without learning is a wasted life. It is necessary to be able to live.
And I don’t want this article to become another where people say that everything is evolving, technology is advancing and you have to be prepared for the job market. Yes, this is true, and you should be worried if you still don’t know how to order your new Nintendo Switch 2 on Amazon.
Jokes aside, I do believe that those who adapt and develop new skills have an advantage… for life. And no matter the field: even if you learn something that most call technical, such as coding, or artistic, like playing a new instrument, it is something that will keep your mind and body fresh, and your future self is going to be really thankful for that.
Having said that, these are some of the three skills that I will be learning and polishing on a weekly basis in 2025.
Web Design —> I have actually just received my new certification in Responsive Web Design, which helped me to understand what are the basics of building a website. We all have to start somewhere. My first blog was on Blogger (a platform from Google), and my first website I made it on SquareSpace.
Video Editing —> I used to have a YouTube channel, and it will be nice to structure my content into this format again. Something I have learned: it doesn’t have to be perfect, just do it.
Writing —> Storytelling is everywhere, not just in professional projects or literature. Taking someone from point A to B in the most simple way is, in many cases (sales!), the best plan. But life should not be like that. We like to listen to stories. Let’s tell good stories.
Remember: it doesn’t have to be perfect, and you don’t need to master it in a week, but you have to be consistent.
Last super fantastic inspiring basic lesson that everyone needs to hear once in a while? You have to enjoy the process of learning. Because if you just learn to have a better job, maybe you will have, but will you have a better life overall?

Un Jour À Bruxelles

After thinking about keeping or not this section and some feedback from a reader -thank you, Jean- I’ve decided it will be now more of a personal and short experience.
Hope you’ll like it!
